New Option for Google Alerts: Now instead of getting notified of an article post through e-mail, Google can now send the alerts to your article feed. Google instructs, “Once you sign in to Google Alerts and create an alert, you can opt for feed delivery by clicking ‘Edit’ next to your alert on the ‘Manage Your Alerts’ page and changing your ‘Deliver to’ selection from ‘Email’ to ‘Feed’ (click on the image to see larger).”

Search Instant Answers: cnet News reports “Microsoft’s Live Search engine can provide what the company calls ‘instant answers’ to various questions, and the company said on Wednesday it plans to expand the feature in the next month.”

The applications allow developers to share their work with early-adopting users, providing early feedback It also gives users who opt-in an even wider variety of apps from which to choose.
