- Microsoft announced the release of U Rank, their social search experimental site. The site allows users (who have a Windows Live ID) to move results, share with friends, and even make comments.
- Yahoo! released Yahoo! Web Analytics (beta). it is being rolled out in phases, and those among the first with access include Yahoo! Small Business users and 3rd party application developers in their developer network.
- Google released Adwords Editor 6.5. As mentioned in their blog post, some new features include horizontal scrolling in the data view, calendar picker for performance stats, and a new keywords opportunity tool.
- Ask.com released version 11 of their search engine. According to this CNET article, the biggest change is that they are parsing more data from various sources. Also stated in the article is that this version, according to Ask.com president Scott Garrell, is also 30% faster than the last version, and with more accurate results.
- Google added an audio playback feature to Knols and YouTube Comments. You can now hear audio playback of some Knols and you can audio preview your YouTube comments.
