Blogs, or Web logs, are powerful marketing tools.  Manufacturing companies have a lot to gain by blogging. For instance:

  • Showcase Expertise – A blog is an effective and inexpensive medium to establish credibility in your field.  As a trusted subject matter expert, your customers and future customers can be confident they are with the right supplier.
  • Customer Service – By allowing your customers to post comments and reviews you are able to gain an understanding of how you are perceived.   Even a negative comment can be a good thing.  It shows that you are proactive in problem resolution.
  • Higher Search Engine Rankings – The old content is king adage still rings true.  Search engines love new content and spider your site more frequently when there is something fresh to “read”.    And the more your site is spidered the higher your rankings will be.
