Introducing Picasa 3.0: Google announced major uprades for Picasa and and Picasa Web Albums. New features have been added to the photo sharing sites.

Google Focused Satellite: Digital Media reports the GeoEye-1 satellite that launched into orbit Saturday is partially on a mission from Google.  The search engine company signed a deal with  GeoEye which will supply Google with imagery from the satellite.
