- 10.8 billion. That is how many core searches American’s conducted in May, with Google and Yahoo both increasing slightly in market share, according to comScore qsearch analysis of MarketingCharts reports.
- Google Video added search suggestions to their search results page. Once you conduct a search there is an “also try” box at the top of your search results, giving you suggestions to expand your search.
- Google announced that they have released an API for Webmaster tools. This is announced as the first version of Webmaster Tools API, and supports features for managing sites and working with Sitemaps.
- Google Trends for Websites was also announced this past week. This allows you to see trends for Web site addresses and ranks site visitation by geography, related Web sites and searches.
- Yahoo! is continuing to see an exodus of executives. According to TechCrunch, four more executives will be leaving, Vish Makhijani, Qi Lu, Brad Garlinghouse, and Joshua Schachter, founder of del.icio.us have all announced their resignations.

I want to know when google ISN’T busy :P… It seems that they are coming out with some kind of new feature/gadget weekly. Believe me, I’m not complaining… I love google and everything they have :D.
