Here are two sites that should make you smile.
The first is Bad Fads. That’s right. It’s an online museum for Bad Fads! Here you can get the dirt on nearly every wacky fad over the last 50 years. The museum covers the usual crazes like pet rocks and pyramid power. But what about some of these:
Not all the fads are really bad. What can you say bad about Slinky, Frisbee and Hacky Sack? They’re here too with plenty of others. There are full histories and bios about the fads. Now I wonder what will be classified as the fads of today? Facebook? global warming? twitter?
The second is Chinglish.de. Chinglish is what happens when you mix the English language with Chinese grammar. The results can be….well let’s just say amusing. After all, wouldn’t you want to eat stir-fried Wikipedia? And make sure there is no whoopla in the park. Check it out.
